I’m not feeling much joy right now. I missed my sister’s wedding and my grandmother is dying. I’m in a class at school that has me apologizing for being white, being American, and being human. On the up side, it’s not as hot today as it was a couple of days ago.

My sister just got married and my grandmother is in the hospital, dying. I wasn’t there for my sister’s wedding and I won’t be there for my grandmother’s funeral.
