I’m happy because I’ve had a couple of days off from school and all that ‘downward spiral into the pit of hell (a.k.a. finals week)’ energy. I took Wednesday nite & Thanksgiving day off – completely – from schoolwork. When I picked up books yesterday (Friday), I found that I was rejuvenated and actually able to focus and start formulating ideas for the many pieces of writing I have coming up.

Today will, hopefully, be a repeat of yesterday but with even more productivity – perhaps even some writing. It’s hard to exlain, except to, perhaps, other writers, what a relief it is when the ideas start to really come together. I’ve got two or three assignments that I now have the ‘core thoughts’ for – all the rest is just detail. Whew…
