been so tired you couldn’t take genuine pride in an outstanding accomplishment? That’s what happened today. I and a fellow teacher have been working on this enormous project for our school. We’ve been designing a curriculum to introduce eportfolios as an integral part of our school’s entire learning structure. All the departments are involved, we’ve gotten feedback from students and we put an *enormous* amount of our own brainpower into this creation. In any case, today was the day we presented the project to the staff. The purpose of the presentation was not only to show the rest of the staff the work, but to get their feedback on some very important pieces.

And, according to our executive director, we were unbelievable! her words, exactly, were “this is the most brilliant piece of work to come out of this organization in 12 years.” and we got similar feedback from the other managers and staff. there were also a couple of people from outside our organization – one from the national org and one from another educational organization – and they both also told us how amazing our work is. So it was a good day and our presentation was an incredible success. But I’m so wiped out I can’t even feel happy. hopefully, i’ll be feeling sky high after a good night’s sleep
